About the customer

Brewing Brothers is a brewery based in Hastings, East Sussex which was established by Ned and Charlie in 2016. The business was created after they took a visit to the U.S. and soon realised the UK seemed to be falling behind in the world of craft beer. After some blood, sweat and tears the doors to their first brewhouses opened where they offer a wide range of ales and stouts made by the brewer, Billy.

Where it all began

Labelnet were exhibiting at the Brew LDN trade show in September 2021. Labelnet rep, Neil Bishop met Brewing Brothers on their exhibition stand who were serving delicious tasters of their IPA’s. After an introduction and taste of their brew (it would be rude not to) Neil was in touch with prices and samples after the show.

What were they looking for?

It was a match made in heaven as they were currently looking for a new label supplier who offered fast turnaround times. Labelnet supplied labels…who offered fast turnaround times. The whole team at Brewing Brothers made their decision to go with Labelnet after reviewing the sample products supplied and taking the price into consideration.

Ultimately, we wanted to find a UK based label supplier with several years trading behind them who had worked with substantial brands as clients. Our reason for this was if larger brands can place their trust into a business, then our growing brand can do the same.

What challenges did they face?

There were a few instances where the design on the label affected the label application which Brewing Brothers were not aware of. This caused some issues with their production. Offering finished samples of their designs before placing an order would help Brewing Brothers to trial their labels beforehand.

How did Labelnet help?

With Brewing Brothers becoming very creative with the label design to create a lot more variety in their range of ales and stouts, Labelnet were on hand to offer advise on materials and textured varnishes to enhance the finish.
