Macphilips is a family run business based in South Ockenden, Essex. Their main business is with Palm Oil – importing and re-bottling.
Where it all began
Macphilips approached Labelnet 10 years ago in need of a label supplier, and with Labelnet being local to them it seemed like a good fit.
What were they looking for?
Macphilips were looking at smaller volumes and to change from Flexographic to digital inkjet was the ideal solution plus it enhanced their labels with the slightly textured finish that the digital inkjet press gives
How did Labelnet help?
Sales rep Mark helped Alexi Okoli (Macphilips owner) with the transition to digital labels by supplying some test run labels to ensure the quality and finishes met their requirements. Mark was on hand to help with the designs and use of correct materials to get them the results they wanted.
In turn Macphilips new labels had enhanced the quality and added a special finish that had an edge on their competitors labels, making their products stand out on the shelf.
What challenges did they face?
Macphilips artwork needed adjusting to make the transition from Flexo to Digital so the Labelnet design team needed to tweak the imagery to meet the Digital standards.
